ANGER, RAGE & REBUILD
rage came uninvited,
filling me with fire and bitterness.
one moment he promised forever, the next,
he vanished, erasing me,
while his ex reappeared,
marking her place in his life again.
i wanted revenge. i wanted to tear down
the pedestal i’d put him on,
burn every memory he touched.
his hypocrisy was laughable—
a man who wanted to teach kindness
while he hid behind lies.
the betrayal was sharp,
but in that fury, i found clarity.
holding onto rage only burns you,
so i let it go.
in its place, i kept my softness, my strength.
now, i see the red flags,
uard my heart,
and know my worth.
i’m still here — soft, strong,
no longer bound to his darkness.
this is my story,
and i’m writing it with a heart
that’s learned to protect itself.
